One platform, from storefront to operations
I coordinate the development and growth of ZETA.kz, an e-commerce platform with 40,000+ products. My work spans the launch, ongoing product development and day-to-day platform operations.
My role on the ZETA side: Project Manager + Product Manager + E-commerce Platform / Site Administrator.
I defined the product functionality and business requirements on the ZETA side and coordinated their delivery. The external development team handled technical implementation.
Why the platform was rebuilt
The previous Bitrix-based store needed a more flexible foundation for a growing catalogue and configurable furniture. The rebuild connected online product discovery with retail stores, while giving the business more control over content and integrations.
My responsibilities
- Delivery: managed backlogs in Jira and YouTrack, gathered business requirements, wrote user stories and developer tasks, coordinated up to five contractors simultaneously, and supported task and process migration.
- Platform operations: administered the catalogue, product data, prices and availability; monitored 1C exports and data flows; used Google Sheets and Apps Script to support operations.
- Marketing and analytics: worked with contractors on SEO, metadata, Merchant Center, GA4, GTM, Search Console, Yandex Webmaster, Google Ads, Yandex Direct and Hotjar.
Technology and integrations
Frontend: Next.js / React
Backend: Node.js / NestJS
Administration: AdminJS
The headless architecture uses server-rendered pages, MongoDB for data and Elasticsearch for product search. Product configuration lets customers select options and see the corresponding price.
| System | Integration scope |
|---|---|
| 1C | Two-way exchange of products and orders |
| Bitrix24 | CRM integration |
| Wallet-Kit | Loyalty and bonus programme |

The storefront
The customer journey connects category browsing, product discovery, interior inspiration, campaigns and the shopping cart. Select any screenshot to view it at full size.
Behind the storefront: AdminJS
The administration layer supports catalogue and content management. My responsibilities included product data, prices, availability and monitoring imports from 1C.

Design in Figma
Design materials cover desktop and mobile customer journeys. The mobile views below are Figma mockups, not screenshots of the live mobile website.
Planned regional expansion
The project scope includes a multi-city structure covering 18 cities and six separate 1C databases, with regional product and pricing conditions. This is planned, not yet implemented.
